We were looking for a school with a bilingual programme (English-Mandarin) and we liked CIS the most. They use 50/50 each language.
My daughter has been there for 2 years and she speaks quite fluently in both languages, apart from Spanish that is her mother tongue.
Facilities are great, and the youngest ones have a big playground where they play with sand, water, they have plants, … very funny for them.
Our perception is that the school puts more emphasys on business than efforts to really set a high standard educational system, senior and mature.
No complaints on the facilities that are totally new and really great, with well designed spaces for the kids to play and enjoy.
We spend 4 years from kindergarten, first years were ok, demand for kids are low, objective is socializing and play, entering into grade 2,3 you could see the disconnection, progress/education varies too much depending on teacher skills, what means gaps on the school systems. In math the aren’t strong.
