Alice Smith School – Secondary was the first British International School in Malaysia and the only not for profit international school in Kuala Lumpur.

- Primary Campus for Early Years and Primary School (3 to 11 years old).
- Secondary Campus for Secondary School (12 to 18 years old).

CURRICULUM / AGES (GRADES)
At Alice Smith School – Secondary Campus the following Stages are taught:
Key Stage 3 (Year 7 to Year 9)
During this first stage of Secondary students will study 14 different subjects including English, maths, science, and two moderns foreign languages. In Year 9, students will choose 2 elective subjects and explore their own interests before starting IGCSE courses in Year 10.
Key Stage 4 (Year 10 and Year 11)
This stage culminates with the IGCSE examinations and students learn English, mathematics, science, and one modern foreign language whilst also specialising in those subject areas which reflect their interests.
Alice Smith School offers a broad range of experiences in Key Stage 5 of which linear (2-year) A Levels are the main academic element. The school offers a broad range of A Level subjects, with over 24 options to choose from.

Language Support: Students who require specialist English language support will join an EAL (English as an Additional Language) programme to achieve the sufficient level of fluency over time. Additional fees are charged for EAL support. .
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Alice Smith School seeks the all-around development of the students through wider learning opportunities: the Model United Nations, helping in the community, cultural days, extra curricular activities, art performances, sporting competitions, trips, and expeditions.

Admission criteria: Alice Smith School is not selective school, however enrolment is not automatic and all applicants are required to complete an assessment (which varies according to the age of the student) prior to the offer of a place. The whole admissions procedure can be found here.
