INTRODUCTION TO Amity International School Amsterdam

Amity International School Amsterdam is a small private international school in the Amsterdam region that opened its doors in February 2018 and provides the accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, – Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), for students from 3 to 19 years of age.

The school is part of the Amity Education Group, a not-for-profit education foundation created 25 years ago, and home to more than 150,000 students worldwide.

LOCATION / CAMPUS

The school is located in Amstelveen, only 15 minutes away from Schiphol. The school is located in a unique monumental building surrounded by green spaces and supports the well-being of students.

CURRICULUM / AGES (GRADES)

Amity International School Amsterdam is an accredited IB school that offers the following IB Programmes:

– Primary Years Programme (PYP) for Early Years (ages 3-6) and Primary Years (ages 6-11)

– Middle Years Programme (MYP) (ages 11-15)

– Diploma Programme (DP) (ages 16-18)

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The school offers several Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) that are led by school staff, volunteer parents, or a qualified external organisation. They are slightly different in Primary and Senior School and include, among others: Musical Theatre Skills, Library club, Puzzle Club, Yoga, Hockey, Music Ensamble, French, Spanish, Coding, Football, Drama Club, Chess Club and Design Club.
