Brighton College Singapore is a private international school in Singapore founded in 2020 as the result of the first partnership between Cognita, and Brighton College.
The partnership involves Brighton College leading the educational philosophy, and curricula, while Cognita will lead the day-to-day operation of the new school, with governance by a joint board.
Brighton College Singapore provides learning opportunities for children aged 18 months to 11 years. In addition to the link with Brighton College UK and its curriculum, which incorporates the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage and English National Curriculum, Brighton College prioritizes the teaching of Mandarin and provides a dual language program running from Pre-Nursery through to Year 1. This is further supplemented by daily Mandarin lessons from Year 1 upwards.
The school funds its school culture on three key pillars: curiosity, confidence and kindness. Brighton College is a relatively small school with a maximum of three classes per year group, creating a nurturing pastoral environment.
Brighton College Singapore offers an educational program not just to enable children to comprehend the world around them. Its ambitious English curriculum promotes problem-solving, analytical approach, and simultaneously an outward looking perspective, that encourages social responsibility and engagement.
The school shares facilities on the same education hub campus with two sister schools – AIS and SAIS such as three-sport halls, two swimming pools and two sports fields. Brighton College also counts with dedicated learning spaces which include music rooms, science, art and tech spaces for the older children, as well as indoor and outdoor play areas.
For the academic year 2020-2021, full-year tuition fees per-pupil vary from S$14,250 in Pre-Nursery to S$35,010 in Year3 to Year 6. A full copy of the School Fees for 2020/2021 can be downloaded here. Families with two or more students concurrently enrolled at Brighton College (Singapore) will be offered Tuition Fee discounts up to 10%.
