Rafa Rafa Nadal School is an international school in Mallorca. It opened its doors in 2016 and offers an Anglo-American curriculum for early childhood, primary, and secondary students (from 4 to 18 years of age).
LOCATION / CAMPUS
The school is located in Manacor, Rafa Nadal’s native city, on the island of Mallorca. Mallorca is a small island in the Mediterranean Sea that provides a safe environment for students.
CURRICULUM / AGES (GRADES)
RNS offers an educational program accredited by the Spanish, British, and American systems. The curriculum is based on the British System for Primary, the American Educational System, and the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) for Secondary.
– Primary curriculum (Early Years through to Key Stage 2): Rafa Nadal School delivers a program based on the English national curriculum, Early Years Foundation Stage, and the Spanish national curriculum.
– Secondary curriculum (American Middle School Program -Grades 7 and 8, and High School Program -Grades 9 to 12): RNS’s program is based on the AERO standards. AERO standards is a project supported by the U.S. State Department’s Office of Overseas Schools and designed explicitly for American-sponsored schools outside of the United States of America.
Students at the Rafa Nadal School finish with a double degree, the American High School Diploma, and the Spanish Baccalaureate Degree (required to access Spanish universities).
