Runnymede College is a private non-denominational British school established in 1967 in Spain and offering a British education to boys and girls of all nationalities from the age of 2 to 18 years of age.
The school is located in La Moraleja, an affluent residential district in northern metropolitan area of Madrid.
Runnymede College provides a British education according the following Key Stages and Departments:
Junior School from the ages of 3 to 11:
-The Foundation Stage
-Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and 2)
-Key Stage 2 (Year 3 to Year 6)
Senior School from the ages of 12 to 18:
-Key Stage 3 comprises (Year 7 to 9) of the senior school. Students will now have specialist teachers for each of their subjects.
– Key Stage 4 (Year 10 and 11), a two-year preparation for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exams which are taken at the end of Year 11.
– Sixth Form (Years 12 and 13). Admission to the sixth form will depend on a student’s IGCSE grades.
