Schloss Krumbach International School is a co-educational boarding school for students aged 12 to 19. The school offers an international education in English for Grades 7- 12 and follows two international diploma programmes (IB DP and A-Levels).
LOCATION / CAMPUS
Schloss Krumbach International School is located a 50-minute drive from Vienna, on the eastern edge of the Alps, and it is Austria’s first and only castle-based school.
The school’s location allows students to enjoy the views of the area and, at the same time, participate in the Austrian capital’s cultural events, such as visiting art and natural history museums, modern theatres and galleries, and the Vienna State Opera and Konzerthaus.

Middle School (Grades 7 to 9):

Schloss Krumbach International School follows an innovative bilingual curriculum based on a combination of the Austrian and international educational systems.
High School:
Pre-Diploma Programme (Grade 10)
Student age: 15-16
It is a one-year comprehensive foundation course to facilitate students’ transition to IB DP or A-Levels Programme.
IB Diploma/ Cambridge A-Levels (Grades 11-12)
Student age: 16-19
The school offers the option of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) and the Cambridge International AS & A Level programme (A-Levels), both internationally recognized.
LANGUAGES
Language of Instruction: English and German (bilingual) in Middle School, and English in High School.
Extra Languages: French, Spanish and mother tongue support.
Language Support: The school offers additional language acquisition support, if required.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Among the extracurricular activities that the school offers are co-curricular day trips, diverse sports and extracurricular activities, daily pre-breakfast stretching and fitness routine, talent development workshops, theater club, art classes, gardening workshops, kitchen club, crafting, debate club, school music band, photography and writing across the media, sewing tutorials, astronomy club, skating, and biking.
