INTRODUCTION TO Sunway International School – Iskandar Puteri
Sunway International School – City KL Campus is one of the Sunway International Schools in Malaysia. The school offers a variety of pathways to choose from. The basis of our offerings from Kindergarten to Grade 11 (from 4 to 17 years of age) is centered around the Ontario (Canada) Provincial Curriculum, and earning their Ontario Secondary Schools Diploma (OSSD) in conjunction with Sunway’s Canadian International Matriculation Program (CIMP). Students in Secondary may also choose to shift to the Cambridge International Programme, or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

Sunway International School – City KL Campus is located on a 800 acres campus, 20 minutes from Kuala Lumpur city centre, the capital city of Malaysia and 40 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
CURRICULUM / AGES (GRADES)
Sunway International School – City KL Campus offers the the following programs:
– Kindergarten Programme
The Full Day Kindergarten (FDK) programme is based on the Canadian (Ontario) full day kindergarten model (Canada’s Ontario Full Day Kindergarten (FDK)) and caters to students aged 4 to 5 years old.
– Ontario Primary Programme
The Canadian (Ontario) curriculum continues in SIS’s Primary School (Grades 1 to 5).
– Middle School Programme and High School Programme
Students in Middle School, Grades 6 to 8 (aged 11 to 13), and in High School, Grades 9 to 11 (aged 14 to 16). At the end of the programme and completion of academic credits and community service requirements students can obtain the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
– Sunway Cambridge International Programme (IGCSE)
Students at Sunway International School – City KL Campus also can opt to follow the Cambridge (IGCSE) Programme for Years 7 – 11 (ages 11 to 16).
– International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
For students in Grade 11 and 12, the schools offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) since 2017.
