Great school. My daughter loved it. Probably the only truly international school in Madrid. Quite pricing though.
The American School of Madrid, founded in 1961, is a private K-12 college preparatory school that offers an education with an American curriculum and fluency in Spanish.
The school is located in Pozuelo de Alarcón, an affluent residential district in northern metropolitan area of Madrid.
Lower School for children ages 3-11 years-old (Kindergarten to Grade 5). The Common Core Standards, adopted by most of the US states, provide the framework for the Lower School curriculum.
Middle School for children ages 12-15 years-old (Grades 6 to 8). The Middle School includes six core classes: English, Science, Mathematics, History, Spanish, and Physical Education.
Upper School for children ages 15-18 years-old (Grades 9-12). The Upper School Program is a four-year sequence of courses. The U.S. High School Diploma runs concurrently with an International Baccalaureate Diploma, and the Spanish requirements.

families who have a need and desire for a program based on American standards, to achieve an American and/or International Baccalaureate diploma.

Top school really bilingual in Madrid. The curriculum, top-end facilities, high-performing educators, great administrative staff and marvelous vibe make this school my preferred from all over the world.
