Taylor’s International School (TIS) is part of Taylor’s Education Group, one of Malaysia’s oldest private education institutions. TIS – Kuala Lumpur offers a British-based curriculum and IGCSE examinations for students aged 3 to 16.

LOCATION / CAMPUS

Taylor’s International School – Kuala Lumpur is located near the centre of Malaysia’s capital city and has open spaces and sports, arts, and science facilities. Taylor’s International School has a second campus, 27 km southwest of Kuala Lumpur, located at the southern end of Puchong (Taylor’s International School – Puchong).

CURRICULUM / AGES (GRADES)

Taylor’s International School – Kuala Lumpur offers:

– FOUNDATION KEY STAGE: Nursery and Reception (3 to 5 years old), based on the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), provides the foundation for Primary education.

– KEY STAGE 1 & 2 (Years 1 to 6) embrace the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and form the foundation for Secondary education.

– KEY STAGE 3 (Years 7 to 9), based on the National Curriculum for England, caters to the first part of Secondary schooling and prepares students to be more independent.

– KEY STAGE 4 (Years 10 to 11), a 2-year programme that culminates in the IGCSE examinations.

LANGUAGES

Language of Instruction: English.

Extra Languages: Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia from Early Years up to Secondary.

Language Support: At TIS Kuala Lumpur, students can follow an Essential English Programme to increase their confidence and proficiency in English.
